It's not uncommon for our thrift shop to receive donations of warm winter clothing from people who move here from northern climates and find they have no need of them in the Valley of the Sun.  Because we have little opportunity to sell them here, they are collected during the year and delivered in the fall to the Diocese of Navajoland for distribution to our brothers and sisters who are in need of them during the cold winters there.
